The hotel is certified by "The PLEDGE™ on Food Waste" with the highest possible ‘All-Star’ rating in 2023 and 2022, and a Gold rating in 2021. The initiative is supported by experts who helped us in our commitment to reducing food waste. Further actions include eliminating single-use plastics, using only glass bottles, paper straws, and bio-degradable boxes for food delivery.
Corsair for a Cleaner Future
Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok partners with the Corsair Group, an international recycling company to turn our daily plastic waste into advanced bio-oil. Together, we are working towards becoming Certified Plastic Neutral. For every kilogram of plastic discarded, an equal amount is recovered and removed from the environment.
SCG Circular Economy
Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok has joined SCG Chemicals and SCG Packaging to be part of its Circular Economy. We exchange plastic waste for cash to support CSR activities and send waste paper to SCGP, which returns as recycled paper for office use. The innovative business model helps shift from 'make-use-dispose' to 'make-use-return', leveraging technology for sustainability.
Green Hotel
Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok is Gold level certified by the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion under the Green Hotel program.
