Start your journey at The Centre for Architecture, Design and the City, better known as the Lighthouse, and climb the helical staircase to an inspiring view of Glasgow. Hotel guests should put the iconic Clyde Auditorium next on the list, or perhaps a tour of Kelvingrove Museum, home to one of the most impressive collections of European artists.
Or you can set off from your hotel in Glasgow for a football game at Hampden Park or Scotstoun Stadium. Check that the traffic cone is still firmly in place on the Duke of Wellington’s head in the Royal Exchange Square before seeing John Bellany’s works at the Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art. Then take the Squinty Bridge (Clyde Arc) across the River Clyde to see the Glasgow Science Center, the Rangers at Ibrox Stadium or the Scottish Power Planetarium.
