You'll want to linger each morning over a second cup of coffee while you take in the sumptuous 1912 decor and slice of San Sebastian history represented by the grand breakfast room.
Breakfast is a well-loved event which attracts both hotel guests and San Sebastian locals. The tempting selection includes fresh fruit, Basque cheeses, smoked salmon and a wide variety of hot dishes. All bread, cakes and fruit pastries are baked in-house each morning.
Sumptuous Decor
Towering columns topped with heavily gilded Corinthian capitals support a double height ceiling while ornate plasterwork depicting Belle Époque effigies and delicate flower garlands are complemented by original chandeliers to dramatic effect. Oversized French doors with sashed, heavy damask drapes allow sunlight to flood in while providing access to tables on the terrace which offer superlative views of the historic Victoria Eugenia Theater and the river.
