While our property was physically untouched, we have been deeply affected by the fires. Our Sheraton Maui ‘ohana is grieving the loss of family, friends, their homes and community. We are mourning, and our island home is forever changed. But we are resilient, and our mission is unwavering: to support our ‘ohana and provide visiting ‘ohana with memorable experiences, accented with heartfelt aloha.

From The Heart: Sheraton Maui
Some say, “the only constant is change.” The changing tides of Kaanapali Beach have witnessed the peaceful growth of native plants, the rise of agriculture, fishing villages, pioneer towns and in 1963, the ascent of Sheraton Maui. But here on the relaxing shores anchored by Pu’u Keka’a, you will forever experience the sweet serenade of the Pacific rolling against ancient sands.
Forever Changed

‘Ohana (family)
With associates that have been part of the fabric of the resort since 1963, our ohana is comprised of multi-generational families who take pride in making sincere connections and creating memorable experiences. Each guest is treated like a part of our ‘ohana.
Kūkulu (build)
Our team has rallied to support one another as well as the greater Maui community in incredible ways. We are grateful to offer an element of stability during a time when so many are experiencing unimaginable loss. As we look to reopen to the public, our commitment to our local community remains steadfast, and we will continue our efforts to support those impacted by the fires in every way we can.
Kokua (help)
Many have reached out asking how to help support our ‘ohana and greater community. The “Aloha for Sheraton Maui Relief Fund” was founded by our Kyo-ya Ohana ownership team, and is dedicated to supporting our impacted Sheraton Maui ‘ohana. We invite you to join in offering your support.

Cliff Dive – Lighting of Torches
As we continue our 60-year tradition of lighting the torches at sunset, we reflect on the strength and courage we’ve seen from our ohana since the fires, and the heroic acts of aloha we will need from everyone as we begin to rebuild.
