Vinpearl Landmark 81 the only Autograph Collection hotel in Saigon, is located in Vietnam's tallest skyscraper, on the west bank of the Saigon River in Ho Chi Minh City's Binh Thanh district. Inspired by the Vietnamese folk story of Thanh Giong (or Saint Giong), in which a three-year-old child rode into battle, defended his country and defeated the enemy with only a bundle of bamboo, the Landmark 81 tower proudly stands as a strong symbol of Vietnamese national pride. The hotel's design represents this bundle of bamboo and serves as a Vietnamese metaphor for strength.
