The JW Garden

Rooted in Marriott family tradition, the JW Garden is inspired by JW’s founder J. Willard Marriott who took daily nature walks, along with his wife Alice, who grew fruits, vegetables and herbs for her legendary Sunday night dinners. Today, we grow fresh produce and herbs in our own JW Garden, which are used in recipes, cocktails, oils, and more. At the JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort we believe that a connection to the natural environment is a necessary part of nourishing one’s soul. From sourcing fresh ingredients to guiding explorations of the landscape, we strive to honor the natural environment and bring the outside inside.

Our Cocktails with Purpose initiative strives to produce healthier cocktails while enriching the JW Marriott's beverage program with fresh juices, raw honey, and garnishes plucked from the hotel's garden. Indulge in our Cieli Scuri Cocktail at Tocca Ferro, crafted with Johnnie Walker Black Label, fresh lemon juice, sugar, Crème de Cassis, egg white, and rosemary, freshly plucked from The JW Garden.

The Digital Forest

This first-of-its-kind digital garden experience transports guests into a serene space to plant seeds of imagination and personalize their fantastical trees. Inside the garden, guests play amongst digital caterpillars and butterflies, and experience Zen-like sculptures that tell a narrative of a magical plant’s evolution from seed to sapling to tree.
