In Verbier, you can play on two golf courses, open from June to November. Accessible to golfers of all ages, the two golf courses complement each other and provide all the thrills expected by the little white ball aficionados.

Les Esserts: a unique, 18–hole (par 69) terraced course distinguished by its magnificent panorama view, overlooking the Combins and Mont–Blanc ranges, and its tactical requirements. Here, streams and natural obstacles enhance the joys of the game, as does its infrastructure enabling golf carts to drive around the course. Les Moulins is an 18–hole Pitch & Putt (par 54). Located in the center of Verbier, Les Moulins provides an opportunity for beginners to familiarize themselves with the sport while offering experienced players an effective exercise for the development and control of the game.

Every year in September, the Verbier Pro Am by W Verbier welcomes professional golfers and amateurs for an exceptional day. This is a very unique opportunity for the participants to share their passion and to interact with celebrities of the sport.

DURNAND GORGES (BOVERNIER)

Considered among the ten most beautiful deep valleys between tall slabs of steep rocks in Europe, the Durnand Gorges extend for about one kilometer on a bucolic trail over footbridges and wooden steps above the crashing torrentbelow. The path climbs 200 meters via 330 steps and offers a magnificent natural spectacle. Distance from Verbier: 21 km

THE ALPINE BOTANICAL GARDEN (CHAMPEX)

Grand St. Bernard Hospice: Way up at 2469 meters altitude. Hike to The Great St-Bernard Hospice, a hostel operated by monks on the Great St-Bernard pass in the stunning Valais Alps. THE CASTLES OF SION (VALÈRE & TOURBILLON):

The town of Sion is dominated by the famous hills of Valeria and Tourbillon. The cathedral of Valeria is a harmonious mixture of the Romanesque and Gothic styles. The 13th century summer residence of the bishops of Sion on Tourbillon was destroyed by fire in 1788 and is now in ruins. The All-Saints-Chapel is located between the two hills, with the medieval old town below. Distance from Verbier: 55 km
