Explore Buck Island’s breathtaking coral reef, or take a boat to Isaac’s Bay and see the native hawksbill turtles. The snorkeling at Annaly Bay is superb, and the adventurous scuba dive at Cane Bay Beach or windsurf at Chenay Bay Beach. For drier outdoor fun, watch the sunrise at Point Udall, explore history at Fort Christiansvaern, or tee off at Carambola Golf Club. Another must see is the beautiful St. George Village Botanical Garden, home to native plants, flowers and unusual trees.
Not far from your St. Croix hotel, wander through the 12 acres of the Estate Whim Plantation Museum, and follow the footsteps of Christopher himself at Columbus Landing, near Salt River Bay. History buffs can visit the oldest church in St. Croix, the Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church, and examine 18th and 19th century homes in the Christiansted Historic District. Point Udall, only an hour from our St. Croix accommodations, is the easternmost point of the United States.
