Consent to cross-border transfer of Personal Data for personalized services

I consent to the cross-border transfer of my Preference Information by Marriott International, Inc. in accordance with the Marriott Group Global Privacy Statement and as described below. I understand that I can refuse the cross-border transfer by not agreeing to cross-border transfer or by requesting to stop the cross-border transfer, in which case I may not be able to receive personalized services.

The Marriott Group means Marriott International, Inc. (Location: USA) and its subsidiaries.

Purposes of Transfer:

To provide personalized services and meet customers’ expectations and preferred level of hospitality at each stage of their stay, as described above.

Data Transferred:

Preference Information, as described above.

Time and Methods of Transfer:

Over the internet or relevant networks upon collection of Preference Information.

Retention by Recipients:

As long as necessary to fulfill the Purposes of Transfer unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Recipient:

Franchisees

Franchisees means owners, lessees, third-party operators, and management companies that own and/or operate Marriott Group branded hotels under a franchise agreement. (Location: Marriott is a global organization and provides a global service. As a result, we may transfer your Preference Information to Franchisees in locations at which you wish to receive personalized services).

Purposes of Transfer:

To provide personalized services and meet customers’ expectations and preferred level of hospitality at each stage of their stay, as described above.

Data Transferred:

Preference Information, as described above.

Time and Methods of Transfer:

Over the internet or relevant networks upon collection of Preference Information.

Retention by Recipients:

As long as necessary to fulfill the Purposes of Transfer unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Recipient:

Authorized Licensees, Travel Partners, Business Partners, Service Providers, and other Third Parties. This may include recipients such as kids’ clubs, nanny services, spa and beauty services, golf, restaurant, and fitness facilities, as well as the providers or organizers of activities that customers like to participate in. (Location: Marriott is a global organization and provides a global service. As a result, we may transfer your Preference Information to Third Parties in locations at which you wish to receive personalized services, or Third Parties at other global locations to the extent necessary to provide you with personalized services).
